PAINFUL LYMPH NODE (URGENT!)

My very first experience with swollen neck lymph node goes way back, 8 years ago. The first time it was swollen (hard) and I can't even turn my head. The occurence of swollen lymph node has been going on and off through out the years. Now (while I'm typing the question out), I'm having a swollen neck lymph node that goes from the front (not the middle) of the neck and stops right before the middle of my neck (behind). It's tender, swollen and painful. It has been 4 days of swelling. The difference between this swelling neck lymph node now compared to my previous encounter is that the pain goes up through the nerves of my head and eyes. I have a low-grade fever. I've gone to see my doctor 1 year ago (still on a routine medical check up, every 6 months) and found out that my blood's anti-nuclear-antibodies is intermediate. A level before 'positive'. I'll be meeting my doctor for appointment in 2 weeks time. At the moment, any of you share the same experience as me? I would to hear out and I don't know whether I should wait for my appointment of just go to the hospital.

I think you need to be seen right away. Sounds like an infection of some sort. Don't wait 2 weeks!
