caffeine

Can caffeine in drinks cause a person to itch if there is too much consumed?

I am trying to figure out what is causing me to itch  recently.  I was eating lots of oranges, drinking oj, eating other acidic foods and fruits and also have been drinking a cappachino nearly every morning for the past 3 weeks.  I get a 24 oz size or 34 oz size.  Also later some days ingest a McDonald's frappe...my newest addiction.

Caffeine...sugar is in them.  I have allergies & take a claritin D daily..mostly for environmental related allergies.  Also newly on thyroid med (in 2nd mo.)
