irritated and swollen lips

my husband got swollen, irritated lips from using in office bleaching kit; what can we do

Hello,
The symptoms that your husband is having are suggestive of angioedema. It is the rapid swelling (edema) of the dermis, subcutaneous tissue, mucosa and submucosal tissues.This has occurred as an allergic response to the bleaching kit.
Give antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin to your husband.Pls remember that Benadryl is sedative and may cause drowsiness.Also apply mild steroid cream to the rash and if the symptoms persist then pls consult a dermatologist as oral steroids may be needed.
