tight arm muscles and numb hands

My husband is 24 and has been waking up the last week complaining of from his elbow down being really tight and his hand having a pins and needles feeling and numb. I was woundering what it could be.

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of his symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include neuro-muscular causes such as nerve impingement, muscle sprain/ spasm, micronutrient deficiencies, infections, inflammations etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
