Early Contractions?

Hi I will be 27 weeks pregnant on Sunday and I was wondering if its too early to have contractions? Not regular ones just ones here and there.

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

First, congratulations on your pregnancy.  It is not uncommon to start feeling Braxton Hicks contractions (which are like practice contractions) anytime after 20 weeks or so.  These contractions are not painful, you just feel a tightening around your abdomen.  However, you should always let your doctor know if you are experiencing contractions.  It is important that he or she know what is going on.  Good luck!
