Thanks for everyone for your support, I plan to go to a doctor next week, and I will let you know all about what he says, thanks for being so generous and kind.
The only way to get an accurate diagnosis is to be very honest about what you experience. I would be very surprised if the doctor was to laugh at you or not take you seriously.I have never heard of a psychiatrist laughing about a patient's problems. Being your own doctor is not a good idea. If there is anyone you can go and see try to do that.
I agree with Xila31, that's a great way to break the ice, so to speak. Gives you and the doctor something to look at and see how you are feeling, other wise i would suggest just telling the doctor what you told us here. Tell him/her how you are feeling, and any different behaviors that you have noticed about your self eg crying.
I know it feels weird the first time you talk to someone about this, i remember feeling very uncomfortable telling my first doctor all about my private and embarrassing things i was feeling. But remember all these doctors have heard it all before and its nothing to be embarrassed about, and they will be able to help you feel better. I think its important to be honest with them other wise they can't give you all the help.
let us know how it goes
Best of luck
Freddie
I agree it is dangerous to take meds without a doctor to supervise you.
I would say to start a mood tracker on this web site (you can find it under the trackers section, and it's called mood tracker.) Write down all of the symptoms you are having and if you think of a question write it down right away, maybe get a small notebook just for this purpose. That's the best way to remember what to ask your doctor. When you go to the doctor print out your mood chart and bring it with your questions.
Sometimes it is hard to find help but it is worth it to not be alone during an illness.
Thanks for your reply,
Because here there is a general perception that the psychiatrists are not good here,
I will go to see one in another city, on weekend, what should I tell him, I always don't know about that.I always think he will never understand me, and make fun of me.
I really don't know.
Regards,
I think it is very dangerous taking these kind of drugs with out a doctor. As you say, there are very bad side effects and you need a doctor who has trained for many years so they are able to decide what would best thing for you. Do you have a diagnosis from a doctor? I really think you need to see a doctor even if that is a local general doctor or a psychiatrist.
Can i ask why you haven't seen a doctor for these meds?
I understand that depression can be very hard, and i am glad you say that wellburtin has help so maybe suggest that to the doctor, but its important to get the right treatment for you form a doctor.
