Which meds do you suspect of causing high blood pressure?

Today I got the verdict that my blood pressure has gone over the line (150/74).  The cardiologist who gave me this warning is not fully conversant with psycho-active drugs, but suspects that some of them may be causing or contributing to the problem.

Here is my current cocktail:  Effexor (low dosage), Lithium (low--600 mg), Wellbutrin (300 mg), Risperdal (low), Clonazepam (low),  Dexedrine 10 mg when needed.

Do you think any meds on this list can cause high blood pressure?

I had to stop Adderal due to bp reading of 200/180. Is dexadrine a stimulant? I just see/hear "rine" at the end of dexadrine and a red flag comes up in my thoughts.

Have you spoken to your psychiatrist or doctors about this?

Youre on 2 different SNRI anti depressant drugs for one thing.. Puzzling..   Lithium can actually lower blood pressure in some cases, Risperdal does not have it listed as a side effect, Clonazepam lowers blood pressure but Dexedrine can cause hypertension and does - its a common side effect.  Its also an amphetamine and a bad idea for most bipolar patients..

Call your doctor ok.
