I have read where they will use Trazadone as an antidepressant, mood stablizer although I don't know why as it is usually prescribed as a sleep aid.
I like to use wikipedia for questions that I may have about prescriptions, it usually gives you an unbiased description of what the med is and how it is supposed to work.
I have used Trazadone myself but I did not like the way it made me feel in the morning, I was extremely fuzzy almost as though I was hung over and it takes quite a while to get clear headed no matter how much coffee I drank.

Do you mean trazodone? My doctor prescribed me trazodone as a sleeping pill. It is a antidepressant though.
