I asked thyroid dr. for FSH to check if premenopausal, but
he would not do it. is there something else I should ask for?

Hello,
During menopause or perimenopause, there is a marked decrease in ovarian estrogen production. This is associated with an increase in heart rate (sinus tachycardia) and an increased frequency in palpitations and non-threatening arrhythmias, such as premature ventricular contractions or PVCs. Since you are 43 years of age, you are perimenopausal and hence may be having tachycardia. But it is important to get the cardiac causes ruled out by getting an EKG and holter monitor done.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
