Chiari surgery 2 time?
I'm a 35 yr old women. I had decompression surgery 7 months ago and up until about 2 months ago i felt great. Now im getting the same headaches, dizzy, dropping things out of my hands and random gagging and vomiting.  I was wondering if anyone knows if this is normal so soon after my surgery.  And has anyone had to have surgery again? I've called my surgen and he doesnt seem very concerned with calling me back.  Please help.

Hi and welcome to the chiari forum.

Well, I do know that different things can cause one to need to have the surgery done again. In fact while in for my decompression my roommate was having hers redone.

Were u checked for tethered cord? or a syrinx?

Not knowing what type of decompression u had I can't speculate as to if it was the type u had...boney, PDF w/duraplasty, endoscopic PFD?
