the big day is august 20th. I dont know all details. Kelly has to call me with all my info. And they gonna send me stuff thru mail. Here goes the nerves lol. Think I would have got over that feeling. I had one surgery already lol. Nah still scared.

I don't know your story really well, but I do know that I've been on this site for a year now and have only read that you have been suffering through this time!  So glad to hear that you are making this step, sounds like it's definitely the right one! Stay strong, you have a better future ahead!

we are all here for you and your going to a place that lives and breaths chiari! Nurses in the hospital have moved there just to work with dr oro and chiari patients. you are finally going to be on the path toward healing which  means getting pieces of your self and life back. it will be hard but no more than what you live with everyday! You are so strong you will make it!

Im so glad that you have a date!  That a long time to think about it though.  I hope you can use the time deeply relaxing each day (hard work, IMO).  I think in some ways, it's harder facing surgery another time.  I tried to remain optimistic, and I'm ecstatic that it's been straight downhill for the past 10 days.  Wheee.  Well, almost.

Danaaaa....i am nervous with you really,but i think u r doing the right step.u just cant function and me neither.if its another surgery for a better future i will also do this step.keep us updated on what they are doing.congrats that u r in hands of a specialist now.
