Poop with whole foods still...

my son is 12 months and is allergic to milk and eggs.  He never gets either and we seem to keep it under control. When he poops he is pooping whole food, his body isnt breaking it down and all his food is chunky in his diaper.  He will eat green beans, peas, watermelon, and carrots and they all come out in whole...why is this happening, he got blood work done today and curious of what this will show.  Does anyones child have the same thing happening?

Hi sorry it's take a while for you to get a reply but wanted to see how your son is doing and if you have a diagnosis?  I think they test to be sure your son is able to get the nutrients, etc. from food digesting in his intestine, etc.

My son has similar problems, he digests too fast and we can often see whole food in his stools. He also have lots of diarrhea.

I unfortunately have no answers to this problem yet, he has had many tests, all normal. We're going to see a gastroenterologist next week, maybe that will help...

My son seems to have a normal development he is now at 50/50, we give him vitamins (Enfamil) to make sure he gets all his nutrients.
