Permanent Crown bite pain?

Permanent Crown bite pain?

I just had a permanent crown put on my right front tooth 7 days ago after having the temporary on for 7 months (the crown manufacturer couldn't get the color right). I had intense sensitivity to hot and cold and bite immediately. The hot/cold sensitivity has gone away, but I still have pain when I bite into a sandwhich or tear a piece of pizza off with the front teeth though. I didn't feel this with the temporary crown. The pain happens only when I bite.

Is something wrong? Will the pain go away? I really don't want to go through the ordeal of removing this permanent again and making a new permanent.

See if you can adjust the bite on the crown first to see if that solves the problem.  It may be that the bite is too high and hitting the other teeth down below too hard, causing some pain.
