Severe Pain & Bone Exposed

I just had 2 upper teeth pulled and my bone is severely exposed.  I HAVE BEEN HAVING SEVERE PAIN FOR OVER A WEEK NOW.  I FEEL SOMETHING IS WRONG.  WHY IS THIS PAIN SO SEVERE AND WHAT CAN I DO?

You may have what we term dry socket.  You need to go back to your dentist and get the socket packed to help alleviate the pain.  Unfortunately there's no way to speed up the healing process.  The socket will need to be packed daily to help with the pain while it heals.
