carbocaine

carbocaine

Is it possible that carbocaine without epinephrine can cause heart palpitations 3 days after the procedure(wisdom tooth extraction) and what are the odds of having an adverse reaction to carbocaine with subsequent use if you had it once without a problem?

As far as I know... no, there shouldn't be any palpitations after three days.  The carbocaine has a half life of 2-3 hours, plus there is no epinephrine to cause the palpitation to begin with.

As with allergies, its hard to say when an allergy will develop.
