wisdom tooth extraction six days later pain on gums next to extraction site???

I just had my bottom right wisdom tooth taken out on monday and here it is six days later and im having this pain in the gums on the tooth right next to the extraction site. i can chew alright but it is very sensitive around there. i looks a bit swollen too. i dont think it is  a dry sockett caus i thinik i wouldnt be able to eat or be in alot of pain, i dont know what it is...its like a numbing ache like cold icecream to a sensitive tooth, except on my gum, but what i dont get is its on the tooth next to the one that got removed, the operation site is fine..what is it and should i go to emergency dental to get some antibiotics??or do i need another painfull operation??

It is possible that the extraction exposed some root surface on the adjacent tooth and that is the reason for the sensitivity.If that is the case I would try to avoid extremes of hot and cold. It will take time for that sensitivity to lessen.
