Adverse Interatcions?

by Giorgio1234, Jun 10, 2009 08:03PM
Hi,

Are there any potentially adverse effects associated with using a topical corticosteroid or topical clyndimicine solution while on Accutane? I just started taking Accutane for my acne, while another doctor has prescribed me the topicals for folliculitis (which I believe may be folliculitis decalvans). I was told it was alright to use these together, but I would appreciate a second opinion. Also, do you know of any other treatment regimens for folliculitis decalvans?

Thank you

I'm not aware of any problems with using these medications together.  Accutane may help folliculitis decalvans.  Very little else does.

Best.
