Brown markings on Glans(glands)

I have two problems, one I was born with, the other I caused due to youthful stupidity.  I am in my late thirties now and want to see what I can do about one of them.

I was born with what appears to be two urethral openings on the glans (glands).  I am able to urinate and ejacualate with no problems.  The two openings are placed very close to each other with one on top of the other separated by a strand of skin.  If that strand was cut, it would form one large opening.  I am not concerned with this problem. It is what it is.  I don't want to go through any surgery to correct it.  What concerns me is the second problem.

As a teenager, I had an instance where aggressive masterbation (masturbation) without any lubricant caused irritation and bleeding of the glans (glands).  I now have 3 large brown spots, one on top of the glans (glands) and two on the bottom.  I have consulted with a dermatologist and he suggested a possible treatment with lasers for removing the brown spots.  Is this possible?  Has it been done before?  Who would perform such a procedure, a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist?  Are there specialists in this area? Should I try any bleaching creams first even though he did not suggest any?

You could try a bleaching cream, though it probably wouldn't work.  Laser treatment is probably your best bet--it's simple and safe.  Many dermatologists have the proper equipment.  A dermatologist who removes age spots with lasers could counsel you, prescribe topical creams as a trial, and follow up with laser if they don't work.  I think there's a reasonable chance of success with one mode or the other.
