Topical Medications

Topical Medications

I am currently on 3 acne medications
clindamycin, differin, and monocycline.

Should I be using them ALL over the face or only on affected areas?

Should I be using them right after one another? and

I have been fully using all 3 for about 4 weeks now, when should the results be seen?  I have seen some improvement and a little worsening.

Thanks a whole lot,
Matt

Matt:

You probably shpuld double-check with the physician who prescribed these medications, but the way I usually suggest applying them is all over the face (both), the clindamycin in the morning and at night, and the differin at night, a few minutes later.

It takes most acne treatments 6-10 weeks to show maximum improvement.  At that point, another visit to your doctor may be worthwhile.

Best.
