Swollen glands

by Jen222, Jun 10, 2008 05:24PM
I am a recovering bulimic/anorexic. I was bulimic for 8 years but am now 7 months eating right and NOT bingeing or purging. My recovery has gone smoothly other than one major problem; my salivary glands have been swollen ever since i began my recovery and after 7 months they have yet to make any improvements in size. My doctors tell me to just wait till they shrink but i am starting to worry that this is permanent. On the other hand I did have a severe case of bulimia and so I may just have a tougher time with my glands. Any thoughts on this? I am desperate for someone to tell me that 7 months is not long and that they WILL eventually go away!
