Hello, I was wondering. If Cystoid macular edema can clear up on its own then is it possible that Cystoid Macular Degeneration can clear up on its own? Additionally, can a Vitamin D deffiency be a contributing factor to eye health? My vitamin d level is 5.
No and possibly. Macular Degeneration does not go away unless treated with medications injected into the eye or with lasers...even then there's away some residual (best case scenario). Vit D helps with calcium metabolism and therefore may affect some of the eye processes.
