Inner corner of eye problem

I have been having a problem with the inner corner of my eye.  When I move my eye towards the inner corner there is some pain and more than anything discomfort.  It feels like there is something in it.  I think there may be a very small white dot that looks like a pimple.  Can someone point me in the right direction?  Will it go away on its own and if so when?  Please help me if at all possible.  Thank you so much.

It could be a cyst, a pingueculum, a pterygium, episcleritis. None of these are terribly serious but a proper diagnosis and treatment are essential. Find an Eye MD ophthalmologist at www.aao.org
