Is it Subconjunctival Hemmorhage?

I got hit in the eye with a tennis ball, though I was wearing sunglasses. I now have a bright red blood spot in that eye, but no pain or loss of vision. From what I've read it sounds like subconjunctival hemmorhage. Is this correct, and if so, what I've read indicates there is nothing to do, and it should clear up in about a week. Is this correct?

The blood is a subconjunctival hemorrhage - yes - but do you have a further injury like uveitis or retinal hemorrhage or retinal edema or retinal detachment?  We don't know - so you should still have an eye exam with an ophthalmologist unless you feel your are perfectly alright with absolutely no symptoms.
