Pinguecula/Contact Lenses

Posted By Lynn D on June 30, 1999 at 11:11:51
I have been diagnosed with pinguecula.  My optometrist had told me that wearing contact lenses was not a contraindication, but it seems that when I wear them my eyes become more irritated.  Is there any chance that I will still be able to wear contact lenses with the pinguecula?  Also, is the lesion a self limiting one or will it never subside?  Thanks.
