Prescription not high enough

hi there,
im 16 y/o and 8 weeks ago, i had my eye test and i was prescribed to wear glasses. i had my eye test in my local optician and my prescription was left eye: -20 and my right eye is -1.00. However, when I wear my glasses, i sometimes get headaches and that so i told them about it but they said its fine. then, after that,  i noticed that if i cover my right eye, then see my left eye, i feel like the -20 is not enough for my let eye so i went to another optician and had eye test again just to make sure. like 3 months after and they said that my left i should be -50 and right eye still -1.00. but when i came to local optician, they said that if i will changed it to -50, it will make my eye to be worse and ha lazy eye.

is this true?

I would recommend that you seek the care of an eyeMD to determine the strength of glasses and whether they are correct.
