Since my macular shot; will I get better

My retina specialist, whom is new to me, in 3 months I saw him 3 x's.  He's given me 3 avista shots, the 3rd being today.  In this shot he forced air, so I was told and hit a vein. He used a Q-tip to put force on the eye to stop the bleeding.  the blob I see l@@ks like a green emerald gem which is now at the bottom of my eye.  I asked questions before I left the office.  This doctor is borrowed from the Colo University Hospital in Aurora.  He only comes to my side of town on Thursdays.  Will this blob I see go away?  How long will it take?  Of course my eye is red because of the bleeding.  I was told it would take a week before the eye would return to its normal color.  I don't think I'm alarmed about that, but I am alarmed about the blob I see.  Can you give me some help? If I have this trauma to the eye should I even be walking 5 miles or picking up weights?

It is very common to have a blood vessel bleed in the conjunctiva during an Avastin injection.  This will not cause any problems. Go about your normal activities including picking up weights and walking 5 miles.
