anterior capsule

What is the clinical significance of vacuoles on the anterior capsule?
Can they affect vision in any way.  And if so, how?
Can they be treated?

The clinical significance is that they can sometimes blurr your vision - this is basically a very early form of a cataract.  There is no treatment available except cataract surgery when the lens clouds enough to significantly worsen vision.  That's about it - from my perspective it basically means you have an early cataract that will likely worsen over time.  You could take lots of anti-oxidant vitamins like A, C, E and wear UV protective sunglasses, control blood sugar and eat a healthy diet and you can perhaps delay the development of cataracts.
