can remove retina problem through new technologies

my younger brother has retinities pigmentosa problem.
my sister's son also have eye problem due to cone cell area.
can remove this problems through new method or new technologies?
right now they have medium vision.
if we are not take any treatment it will affect their present vision level?

Some specialist recommend a special vitamin supplement for retinitis pigmentosa but there is no definitive benefit.  Protective sunglasses and proper diet and nutritional supplements could possibly have some effect in slowing down the degeneration - but cannot stop the degeneration or cure the disease.  They should see an eye surgeon specializing in retinal diseases.
