eye power releated

i have eye power of
cylinder in left -3.5 & left -3.5
Axis in left 160 & in left 5
kindly let me know is this severe or can be corrected using lenses. my dr advised me that will get lenses for this kind is it so? if yes then kindly let me know why or can i use lenses for the same
