flashing lights both eyes

i have flashing lights in both of my eyes that never goes away,it makes it hard for me to focus my vision. i have blurred vision also.  i have always had blurred vision but not this bad. i quit smoking 1 week ago, and now my vision has become worse, i have never had constant flashing lights in the path of my vision. i don't know what to do?

Stopping smoking will not cause your vision to get worse. On the other hand smoking can cause cataracts, macular degeneration, blood clots in the retina arteries and veins, poor night vision and an early painful death.

You need to see an neuro-ophthalmologist. Find one at www.aao.org
