secondary cataract - worsening

i have had a secondary cataract laser treatment with good results in teh beginning but now it becomes worse, as if a new cataract develops (i got no new lens implant). Could a new laser treatment help or is there another problem that may occur ? My age is 55. Thanks

Usually only one YAG laser treatment is needed in order to open the hazy posterior capsule behind the lens implant. If the opening is too small, symptoms may not be completely improved. I would see your ophthalmologist again to find out what is happening. A cataract cannot re-grow once it is removed.
