weird eye infection

for like 6 months my both eyes secrete pus like stuff - ive been cleaning it with gauze but it kept coming out. anyway i wentt to a eye doc the other day he told me my eyes might have tear duct obstruction since then im freaking out cuz i checked and google says it must be surgically treated. doc prescribed me these eye drops :loteprednol, lomefloxacin and fusidic acid. theres no redness in my eyes and no tears coming out (they say ppl with duct obstruction has teary eyes). my doc told me to use the antibiotics and come back later. could this be a really tear duct thing or something else? thanks

I wonder if maybe the doctor was trying to say you have meibomian gland dysfunction or blepharitis.  You could get tear duct issues/obstruction at your age but it is rarely bilateral.  Go consult with an oculoplastic specialist and they could tell you for sure if you have any tear duct problems.
