Acid reflux causing bitter taste in mouth and bad throat

Im having GERD since a long time. Now its not getting better im using nexum and gaviscon but there is no relief. Im having a very bitter taste in my mouth all the time my throat is always hurt and i feel like im having fever but it does not show on the thermometer. Before when i used to take medicine my problem was finshed but not now. What should i do please advice. Thanks
