Vagus nerve & GERD

by LeslieHS, Aug 28, 2009 03:12PM
About a month ago I had my first experience with GERD. It came after a very stressful week. I am now taking Nexium & have drastically changed my diet. Which is something I've needed to do as I'm 60 Lb overweight. I have lost 15 Lbs this past month. Every now and then I get a funny sensation on the left side of my throat, along with slight tingling in my left arm, leg & genitals. It's very odd. I have had an EKG & that was perfect. I go for an endoscopy in 3 days.Could this be the vagus nerve acting up? Will it stop as the GERD goes away?
Thanks so much, LeslieHS
