nissan and G tube for reflux controlled by meds?

My Daughter was born premature and is now 41 weeks corrected, so 3 months old but her due date was Nov 30 09 so really 1 week old.  She has had reflux for a while now but the doctors refused med due to the side affects of them.  We were discharged and 4 days later she had an episode where she was having reflux and could not breath.  She turned blue so I started CPR.  I was able to bring her back after 1 round of 30 chest and 2 breaths.  We are now back in the NICU and on medication that is controlling the reflux.  She is documented as having silent aspirations on thin liquid, so she is orally feeding nectar thick Q3/20cc every other feed with the remaining 28 being tube and the other times she is not PO feeding she is only being tube fed.  The GI doc said we can go home this way until she can take all feeds by mouth.  But the pulmonologist wants her to have the nissan and G tube.  My husband and I and some of the doctors are against this surgery.  We think she will get better, some of them dont.  She was alreay taking 30 cc by mouth in 22 min but the speech path cut it back.  I am beshide myself with worry and have told them I am not consenting to this.  Does anyone have any advice they can offer? other moms who have gone through this or doctors with advice? please help

HI...I have no experience to share  or info ....only wanted to express my wishes that u r able to move forward with what ur gut tells u as a mom is best for ur child. I do know once u have a dr u r comfortable with, u also have to decide to trust what they say.
