Can my GB be causing all this pain.

by Snowyclouds, Jun 28, 2008 09:46AM
My pain is my only symptom. I have had it for 2 months now and it is constant. I have no digestion problems at this time. Can this be caused by my gallbladder. My pain is in my chest right rib and middle-lower right abdomen it has also radiated to my upper and middle back. The pain is not in all of those places at once but rather it moves around. The rib pain is the most consistant. Has anyone had this and if you have had you GB removed did it help? I havent had the HIDA scan yet but have no stones or inflamation (inflammation).

I have been suffering from middle back pain since april.  having had a kidney infection in april, may and june, my doctor advised having my gall bladder out and I did that last month.  i still have the upper to middle back pain and my doctors don't know why.  urine samples are clear and all scans show fine.  Yours might be gall bladder.  i am so glad i had mine taken out... the nausea and bloating that i had is gone.  good luck!
