Chronic Tonsillitis and Gastric Ulcers

Is it possible that chronic tonsillitis causes ulcerations in the stomach? My tonsils have been swollen since July. I went to the hospital for tonsillitis and was also complaining of gastric pains that radiated to my back. My ENT gave me Co-Amoxiclav but it didn't work. I was made to go home thinking I would just recover by continuing my medications at home. the hospital failed to have a Gastroenterologist check my stomach. So I was only able to see the Gastroenterologist after I was discharged. I underwent Endoscopy and the doctor told me I had malignant ulcerations in my stomach. He changed the medication for my tonsillitis as according to him, they could aggravate the ulcerations. He told me that the ulcerations could also be caused by my tonsillitis. Now, my question is, is it possible that the ulcerations were caused by tonsillitis?

i had chronic tonselitus about 3 months ago. apparently it was one of the worse cases my doctor had ever seen. and there was no other effects on my body other than having a sore throat.

there was certainly nothing wrong with my stomach.
