For 15 years, I have experienced bouts of extreme, debilitating nausea that come on suddenly and then disappear after sometimes weeks, but it has sometimes been as long as 8 months. I try to eat little amounts to keep my stomach filled, but most of the time that makes me feel even worse. My stomach "gargles" all of the time. The nausea is accompanied with extreme fatigue, weight loss, migraines, depression, and anxiety, and also sometimes joint and muscle pain. I had my gallbladder removed in August of 1994 and am wondering if this could be a result of that surgery. When I get through the episodes, I am fine, but when they come back I am completely bed-ridden most of the time. I don't know what to take to help me feel better. I don't like going out and getting supplements or drugs to experiment with without the advice of a doctor. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
It's possible that what you're experiencing could be coming from something else, but some of the symptoms you're speaking of could be due to a food intolerance
is that they may not make you feel sick all the time. You may be able to compensate for periods of time until you're system can't take it anymore, and then it really floors you. It's difficult to be sure, but when you mention nausea, fatigue, weight loss, migraines and joint/muscle pain, all of those could be related to a food issue. You may want to check and see if anyone - even relatives have ANY food of food intolerance
