My mother has had 4 cases of severe dry heaves (one time with vomiting) and with hot/cold/sweats coming on her very fast and with little to no warning. She is 71yrs old. Has never had stomach surgery or problems. Her MRI and CAT scans came back clear. Heart specialist have not found any problems either. Her blood work also is clear. Her urine has high levels of white blood cells - but does not grow to show an infection. She has passed out on two occasions, felt like passing out on all the others but did not. We have taken her to the ER twice, first time they kept her for 3 days - no final diagnosis. She has a lack of appetite, but can eat and drink. Her energy level is low and she sometimes loses her balance. The last ER doctor has recommend for her to see an Urologist and a Gastro. doctor too. Any ideas? She does not have any stomach pain - except when she has the dry heaves...
