GERD and heart symptoms

Does anyone here diagnosed with GERD or hiaitus hernia get odd heart sensations. Sometimes I get a strange fluttering sensation, or missed heart beats (PVC'c?) feeling of 'fullness' and then very odd belch that comes from way down. Worse after chocolate or fatty food.
Saw over on the heart forum that this could be the gas and acid stimulating the vagus nerve.
Will mention it to my doctor, but this explains a lot of things for me and just wondered if it is common with GERD
