Is it ok not to go to Doctor even you have a spleen pain?

I have a mild pain in my spleen. I believe it is caused by ruptured appendicitis. Recently my appendicitis was ruptured and  I spend quite long time in  hospital until everything is drained and my blood is clean from infections. After 2 months starting from yesterday I have mild pain in my spleen. I believe it is caused by that ruptured appendicitis since I didn't have any problems before. Surfing the web about spleen problems I see it is long lasting treatment procedure and I'm reluctant to go to doctor and go through that procedure and I have burden of medical bills from appendicitis.  I was wandering if it is safe to go to doctor even I have spleen pain since pain is mild and I can live with it. And what kind of diet should I have ? Can this pain disappear after for a while? Since pain started yesterday I was wondering should I go to doctor.

Hi Nargiza:

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been suffering for so long with your appendix and lengthy hospitalization.

It's safer to err on the side of caution.  What if this is something easily fixed?  Go to the doctor and get checked out.  Hopefull it's something simply treated with medication.

On the off-side that it is serious, please go get yourself checked out.

Good luck and Godspeed!

Sam
