Nissan Fundaplication

I had been suffering with acid reflux since as long as I can remember. Then i was told about the NF which of course I jumped at it as I suffered server acid reflux, vomiting and burning pain aswell as keeping my weight constant and gas with bloating. I had the op 4yrs ago the op went well and they also found they needed to do a dyaphragmatic repair too. The promblems I have had since have been surver enough for me to spend time in hospital at least 20 to date my last only 2weeks ago and i just got out. My symptons were server vomiting and a overwelming pain in my stomach and under my sturnum that radiated through to my back and small amounts of blood in the vomit it also feels like i have a constant lump in the back of my throat. Every time i have been in i have been told different things and i also have had free air but no real conclusions have been made the only thing that helps is pain relief normally morphine. I have had the osophgus streched a few times but it never really sorted the problems this time they did x-rays and scans and also an endoscopey but it was inconclusive. I spent the last 2weeks not eating or drinking and not being able to keep fluids down I am underweight anyway as eating in general is a chore and something i dread but as a result of this stay i lost a further 1stone or 14lbs in weight which now leaves me at 8st 2lbs and having no energy which i lack anyway. I am at my whits end and now dont know what i can do. I saw a Professor in Eygpt about 3yrs ago he said it could possibley be the scare tissue becoming inflamed but i was hoping it would all clear up 4yrs after the event. Please help.

There are people who unfortunately are not helped a lot by the fundoplication, and in fact, they need to have it undone and less tightly wrapped. Have you gone back to your original surgeon to discuss the whole problem?
