Possible stomach / Rectal worm (photo) help!!!

So I have been having bowel issues and stomach problems in the last year much more often than I usually do or I think is normal. I then had diarrhea this morning and after flushing the toilet there was something very strange left behind stuck to the surface of the toilet bowl that strangle caught my attention. I noticed it because I like to leave the toilet clean and make sure its clean after going. I don't know if I am insane here but I could swear it looked like a worm , so i got gloves and got it out and place it into the sink. It makes me worried in two ways , that I may just have became a hypochondriac or worse that I actually have worms of some type living in my intestinal tract. Some with any kind of knowledge advise me what to do, really embarrassed to see a doctor.

Blestin, the only one who is really going to be able to help is a doctor, so seriously think about calling and making an appointment and take the specimen with you. People get all sorts of things, and your overall good health depends on your being proactive. No one would consider you to be hypochondrical when 'something' is seen in the fecal material. Take a deep breath and make a call to see your doc. If it is a worm, treatment should be started.
