Severe Abdominal Pain, Convulsions, Sweating, Nausea. Any ideas?

Last night, I went to bed feeling fine and entirely comfortable, around 2 AM. I woke up around 4 AM in pain and, in my semi-conscious state, didn't think much of it. When I woke up completely, I realized that I was in a pretty severe amount of sharp pain in my entire lower and mid-abdomen. I got out of bed and headed for the bathroom, thinking that it may get better if I move a little or perhaps if I use the restroom. I made it no more than five or six steps before I had to lay down on the floor and grab my abdomen from the pain. I started convulsing uncontrollably and I noticed then that my hair and back were literally drenched in sweat - It was like someone poured a bucket of water over my head. No position brought any sort of relief, so I laid still on my side and later my back for maybe 10 minutes before I tried to get myself to the bathroom again. Also, as I was walking from my bed, I got really, really nauseous. I was so concerned about my abdominal pains that I sort of pushed the nausea out of my mind momentarily though. When I got to the bathroom, I sat on the toilet and was overcome with nausea. I had all I could do to keep from vomiting. I couldn't produce a bowel movement of any kind because I had gone earlier that evening, so my theory of that being the problem was sort of eliminated. I didn't feel constipated, either. When I realized that it wasn't my bowels, I took two steps away from the toilet and collapsed on the floor. I laid there shaking and sweating for maybe 25 minutes before I was able to get back to my room. I felt okay enough to lay back in bed and try to fall asleep, but I grabbed my cell phone and was ready to call 911 in case the convulsions or really severe pains came back.

When I woke up this morning, I was really sore. My entire abdominal area feels like someone cut my organs out, ran over them with a truck, lit them on fire and then threw them back in my body. I'm still very sore and shaky - my equilibrium feels off - and I'm still getting waves of nausea. It happened almost 12 hours ago now.

My question is, should I take it easy for the rest of the day and play how I'm feeling by ear, or should I drive myself to the ER and get checked out? Also, do you have any ideas about what could be wrong? I eat a healthy diet, I'm fairly active and I have no medical history with my abdominal area at all, except that I was kicked in the lower right abdomen during a soccer match 6 or 7 months ago. The pain I felt last night was comparable to when I was kicked, but it is from the bottom of my ribcage to my groin on both sides instead of the more localized pain I had when I was kicked.

Oh, and I am a 19 year old female with a healthy BMI and weight.

Thanks!

You need to get to the ER ASAP!  But don't drive yourself, it would be too dangerous.  This doesn't sound like something that is going to go away so you need to find out what's going on right away.  Please don't wait on this thinking it will get better, get to the hospital.
