Undoing the Nissen Wrap
I recently had a Nissen
Fundoplication
Hiatal hernia repair
done. I have been experiencing severe dysphasia to some liquids and most solid foods. I have had an upper endoscopy done and they said everything looked good internally. They were supposed to dilate and they did not due to not finding
strictures
Biliary stricture
Urethral stricture
. Now I am signed up for a
barium
Barium enema
Barium ingestion
Upper gi and small bowel series
swallow test, manometry, and
gastric
Culture of gastric tissue biopsy
Gastric cancer
Gastric culture
Gastric suction
Gastric tissue biopsy and culture
Gastric ulcer
Weight-loss surgeries
Adjustable gastric banding
Gastroparesis
Peptic ulcer
Pyloric stenosis
empting test. It seems like they are trying to determine if the wrap needs to come down.
