Weight gain after gall bladder surgery

Weight gain after gall bladder surgery

Ok, I haven't actually gained weight yet, but I haven't lost any either. Up until my gall bladder surgery I had been losing an average of 2 pounds a week. I'm on Weight Watchers and am extremely committed to eating right and exercising. I keep a food journal and write down everything I eat. I'm eating the same way as pre-surgery and exercising daily. I can't see any reason why my weight loss has stopped. Is this because I don't have a gall bladder anymore? I've seen posts on other forums that some people gain weight after surgery and aren't able to ever get it off... Please, please, please don't let that be me! (I've been obese my whole life and I'm finally getting close to my healthy weight). Is there any way to support the liver in doing its job? I mean, is there anything I can take or do that will help support my body's ability to process the fat? HELP!!!!
