Which vitamins to take with cholestyramine

Which vitamins to take with cholestyramine

I am taking cholestyramine for chronic diarrhea.  I have read that chronic use can cause vitamin deficiency.  Can I take any old multivitamin or should I take water-miscible forms of A, D, K, and E?  The water-miscible vitamins are much more expensive.  Are they really necessary for me for adequate absorption?

It can interfere with the normal absorption of vitamins A, D, E, and K so you can consider supplementation with regular forms of these vitamins and make sure that the supplements you take are separated by about 4 hours time after you've used the cholestyramine.

Keep in mind that it will also interfere with the absorption of a number of medications, too.
