blood and reflux

Ok, I am a 31 year old mother of 2 and MRI/X-ray technologist.  Both my children were delivered via cesarean, S/P BSO and supracervical hysterectomy X 2 years ago.  S/P Laprascopic Cholecystectomy X 7 years ago.  I've battled with chronic IBD with constipation for 10+/- years now.  Have had bouts of colitis and stomach ulcerations on and off for that 10 years. Was tested last year for H.pylori via endoscope and it came back negative. My problem now is profuse bleeding with mucousy loose bowel movements accompanied by constant burning in stomach and reflux in throat causing insomnia, lump in throat and wheezing upon waking.  I'm currently taking Prilosec OTC once a day and have been for as long as it's been on the market but I'm having to supplement with Gaviscon liquid 3-4 times a day X 2 days to no avail.  I'm not sure if the lump in my throat or the bleeding started first but I've been battling both X 2-3 weeks now and it's getting worse all around.  The bleeding is WAY MORE than I've experienced in the past with hemmorhoids.  This is enough to turn the whole toilet bowl red and it's mixed in with the stools and seems to cover them as well.  I'm going to make an appt. with a GI Doc next week, have any suggestions for relief until then or any ideas as to what this may be.

Red blood in the stool comes from the small or, more likely, large intestine. It's probably from ulcers from IBD. Treatment is by antinflammatory drugs such as sulphasalazine...

I can't say from where the reflux... Avoiding any acids, fruits, aspirin, alcohol, proteins (meat, eggs, milk)...my help, also you can put additional pillow under your upper back at night.
