excess bile in stomach

by rainey839, Nov 13, 2008 03:31PM
Hello!! I recently had an Upper Endo which took less that 10 minutes.  The reason I know that because I knew what time I went in and saw the actual time when I came out; however, I' m being told that the procedure took the 15-20 minutes it normally would take.  ? does the 15-20 minutes include the anethesia administration???
Also, in very briefly talking with the Dr., it was mentioned that I have excessive bile in my stomach and inflammation; however, it is not believed that the pain intensity to which impairs my mobility is caused by the excess bile.  In 2007, I underwent an ERCP due to sphincter of oddi dysfunction.
Several CT scans showed no abnormalities and a HIDA can also came up negative.  Could someone have reoccuring sphinctoer of oddi dysfunction???

Thanks!!
