I have lost my stomach through war injury and further surgery. I now have a pouch only - this fills quickly and I vomit what I have eaten. It causes considerable pain and discomfort. Is there a solution that will make eating safer and less painfulPainful menstrual periods?
If the pouch is the size of what is left after bariatric surgery - about a couple of 'ounce' size,' you may have to try to follow the 'rules' used by those who have that surgery for weight loss - very small portions through the day. If the pouch has been fashioned from any remaining stomach tissue, it typically will stretch a bit over time, but it won't happen quickly.
